Waiting for Santa

Before we passed out presents, we had to take pictures of the girls. They were pretty patient while Paul read the Christmas story from the Bible.

The Nieces

Jorge's nieces Brenda and Nicole met us for lunch at Betty's. We had sopa de mani and saltenas. Hmmmm. It was good.

Salpicon

I made salpicon, a Bolivian potato salad, for New Year's Eve get-to-gether at church. I think it tasted pretty good.

Christmas Cookies

Lynnea and her girls made sugar cookies before we arrived. They were waiting for our girls to help decorate them. The girls did a beautiful job decorating, and the cookies tasted delicious.

Christmas Tree in Virginia

We were blessed to spend Christmas this year with my sister's family in Herndon, VA. The 5 girls had an awesome time together. The tree out front was a favorite spot for the girls and the neighborhood children. Even Moose got to climb up the tree.
